What is Rahman upto?

I am writing this because I am amazed by the music of Delhi 6.

Initially, I just liked the title Track "Yeh Dilli hain mere yaar.. bas Ishq Mohabbat Pyaar..". I acquired all the songs only because of it. Then after hearing the songs I realized the title track is mediocre as compared to few other masterpieces.

Masakalli - I hummed this song for quiet a few days. In fact now I sing the whole song. It is a great song... "udiyo na dariyo kar manmaani manmaani manmaani"....

Kaala Bandar - Good catchy rap song "it wasnt me I swear...everyone is looking for the Monkey out there". I love the "kitne parde..kitne parde..kitne parde..kitne parde..kitne parde..kitne parde..kitne parde..kitne parde.... aur pardo ke piche parde". Karthik sings well.
Blaaze sings the English rap in this one too. He has sticked to Rahman and I guess he has achieved a lot. Few days back I saw him with MTV VJs in a song for MTV. I remember reading his name first on "Boys" film Album cover.

Reha Tu hai jaise tu - After initially listening to it I thought it was just another song. But then I realised... man it one of the best songs I have ever heard... I have heard it so many times..I can almost sing the whole song now..
"thoda sa Resham tu humdum thoda sa Khurdura... kabhi toh lad jaa ya ad jaa...ya Khushboo se bhara.. tujhe badal na na chahoo ratti bhar bhi sanam... bina sajawat milawat na zyada naahi kum.. "

Sasuraal genda phool - Maan I totally wrote this song off when I first heard it. I told myself yeh Rahman kya banane lag gaya. But, when I heard it a few times...I said to myself.. WOW it is such an amazing song. Unique is the word. It is a techno folk song according to me. You get a kick when the beats start.. "Ohhh Ohhh Ohh Ohh... Ohhh Ohhh Ohh Ohh.. whistle whistle(beats)" amazing.
"Saas gaali deve... Devar samjha deve... sasuraal genda phool...
Saiyan chhed deve... nanand chutki leve... sasural genda phool...
........ pure Raiour se alag hain Saiyaji ki shaan.."
I can now sing quiet a few lines :)

Dil gira Dafatan - This is my favorite and I am writing this POST only for this song. It is a masterpiece.. It seems some Ash King has sung it...GREAT song..

There are few other songs I need to hear and appreciate.

Now moving to the main topic of this POST..I am wondering how does Rahman do it yaar. How does he churns out one masterpiece after other?

Yuvvraj was forgettable (I believe Rahman should stop working with Subhash Ghai. he does no good with him)

The other day we were discussing at Office that Rahman for sure cant do this alone. He must have appointed leads for each Project and they handle the work.

This guy is a GENIUS. I am sure he'll win an Oscar next month.
